16 September 2024: Panama
In response to the labour complaint filed against the vessel “GAS MARTA”, with IMO No. 9307748, we provide you with the latest communications:
1. Through email dated June 25, 2024, the PMA sent the 1st communication addressed to Ship owners, Operators and/or Local Resident Agents, communicating the labour complaint filed against the vessel, and requesting the measures adopted to correct such deficiencies.
2. Through email dated June 26, 2024, the activation of financial security is requested the P&I.
3. Through email dated June 28, 2024, P&I inform that it maintains exchanges with the owner.
4. Through email dated July 5, 2024, the following information is received from P&I:
“Please accept our apologies for reply delay, we were investigating the issue and arranging all necessary formalities to solve it. Kindly be advised that salaries of all Gas Marta crew members those supposed to be repatriated have been remitted and they will fly tonight.”
P&I is requested to submit payment receipts and airline tickets certifying the repatriation of seafarers.
