On Nov 8th, Aruba authorities informed CMOU of said vessel being in Aruba waters without proper identification. The vessel was ordered to leave Aruba waters and on Nov 10th requested medical assistance for a crew member with a dislodged shoulder in Curacao EEZ waters. The information was there was no medical assistance onboard.
The Curacao administration approved onshore medical assistance and this was done on Nov 11th. That same day the crew member returned to ship and the ship was ordered to leave Curaçao waters, which it did the same day.

By this means, I am pleased to inform you of the procedures that have been carried out regarding the complaint of the ship MS MELENIA with IMO No. 9302023, which was notified in our offices on October 31, 2024.
* The owners and resident representatives of the vessel (attorneys) have been written to regarding the labor complaint for non-payment and repatriation.
*The restriction of the vessel is being requested, so that it cannot change ownership, nor can it be cancelled from the registry.
