Circumstances
Outstanding wages of between 12 and 14 months, no food, no water and no fuel. Seafarers are sleeping on the deck of the vessel. The crew contracts are for a fixed 1 year term, the salaries are well below ILO minimum, the first month salary was not paid as it was used to cover expenses incurred during employment. Employment states that crew “shall not organise or take part in any union activities on board”
