Ship arrested in Mersin port and then the salaries of the entire crew were paid by the company. 3 seafarers who wanted to get off the ship were repatriated. This case has been resolved.
7 November 2024: International Transport Workers' Federation
The vessel name is now Ocean 15.
PSC detained the vessel until all technical matters were resolved. Crew unable to claim officially as Türkiye is not ratified under the MLC 2006, however PSC providing support in requesting that the company pay the crew before leaving port. The company brought a large amount of cash to the ship to pay the crew's salaries and delivered it to the captain on 4th November 2024.
