We hereby wish to formally inform you that, with regard to Abandonment ID. 01307 (Vessel HC WAND- IMO N°9298430), all seafarers have been duly paid and repatriated in accordance with the applicable requirements.

For your reference and further action, please find attached the official proof of settlement of all outstanding payments to the seafarers.

In light of this development, we respectfully request that the necessary steps be taken to ensure that the relevant entry in the ILO abandonment database is duly updated, and that the case be marked as resolved, in accordance with the applicable procedures.

Your email regarding the abandonment report of the MV HC WAND(9298430) has been received and processed.

China investigated the alleged abandonment of seafarers on MV HC WAND. The port authorities confirmed that,

1.On March 21, 2025, the local agent arranged the repatriation of 4 Indonesian seafarers to Indonesia, as requested by the shipowner.
2.On April 10, 2025, the local agent arranged the repatriation of 3 Korean seafarers to Korea, as requested by the shipowner.
3.On April 15, 2025, the local agent arranged the repatriation of the remaining 4 Indonesian seafarers to Indonesia, as requested by the shipowner.

All seafarers have now returned to their home countries. However, China authorities have not been informed of the status of the seafarers' wage payments.

At the time of this comment, all seafarers reported in the abandonment case of the MV HC WAND have been repatriated to their home countries with unclear salary payment status.

We will keep you promptly informed of any further developments.
