Circumstances
Outstanding wages of 3 months. Expired contracts, one seafarer has been on board since December 2023 There is no Master or Chief Officer onboard. One of the seafarers travel document says that he will join a vessel called SANDS
The crew’s Passports and documents have been confiscated
The owner has accused the crew of stealing cargo, which the crew dispute this strongly
The crew state that the owner hired several Iranian fishing vessels to board their ship and assault them, threaten them and demand payment.
The ship is in a poor state, unseaworthy

With reference to your emails dated 23 APRIL 2025 regarding the abandonment of the vessel ‘Lady Gheda 1’ (7616004) it has come to our attention that there is no available data on Indian seafarers working on board this vessel in the E-Gov system of DGS.
2. In light of this, it is challenging to examine the matter further without the details of Indian seafarers currently working on board the vessels. Therefore, we kindly request you to provide the necessary details of the Indian seafarers to help resolve this issue.
