Circumstances
Outstanding wages of 3 months and a lack of provisions. One of the seafarers has an expired contract he has been onboard for 13 months. Seafarers' wages are under the ILO minimum.

8 crew members repatriated without their full owed wages. 9 new crew members arrived to replace and are now in a similar situation than the previous crew. As of 23rd March there’s no water, provisions or fuel on-board.

Based on the follow-up, the aforementioned crew member has been released from prison in Turkey and has left Turkey. If there is a possibility that there are other Iranian crew members in prison, their details should be announced for further investigation.

With reference to your emails dated 23 APRIL 2025 regarding the abandonment of the vessel ‘MEER NA’ (8841357) it has come to our attention that there is no available data on Indian seafarers working on board this vessel in the E-Gov system of DGS.
2. In light of this, it is challenging to examine the matter further without the details of Indian seafarers currently working on board the vessels. Therefore, we kindly request you to provide the necessary details of the Indian seafarers to help resolve this issue.
