In response to the labour complaint filed against the vessel "LSS SUCCESS", IMO No. 6927092, you will find the latest communications:
April 14, 2025. PMA was notified of the complaint regarding the vessel LSS Success and its state of abandonment.
April 14, 2025. PMA sent the first communication addressed to shipowners, operators and/or resident agents, communicating the labour complaint filed against the vessel and requesting the measures adopted to correct such deficiencies.
On April 21, 2025, Capt. Ajay Kotwal tells us the following:
"Further to below email, this is to inform you of a deeply concerning development regarding the vessel LSS Success and its crew. The ship's owner, Marassi Global Investment has gone missing and is currently uncontactable. This unprecedented situation has created significant legal and logistical challenges, further compounding the already difficult circumstances faced by the crew."
May 7, 2025. The second communication was sent to the shipowners, operators, and local resident agent, informing them that "a complaint has been filed against the vessel LSS SUCCESS for non-compliance with the Maritime Labor Convention, 206 and other international labor standards, seriously affecting the crew.
May 8, 2025. The resident agent informed us that he would inform his client about the complaint.
June 27, 2025. The resident agents were informed that vessel LSS SUCCESS (IMO 6927092) is registered as abandoned in the ILO/IMO database due to the crew's situation. which includes expired contracts, lack of provisions, unpaid wages for more than 12 months, and lack of repatriation.
