(From the Directorate General of Shipping (DGS) of India)
With reference to your email dated 28 Apr 2025 regarding the abandonment of the vessel ‘WATERLOO’, IMO Number 1072361, it has come to our attention that there is no available data on Indian seafarers working on board this vessel in the E-Gov system of DGS.
2. In light of this, it is challenging to examine the matter further without the details of Indian seafarers currently working on board the vessels. Therefore, we kindly request you to provide the necessary details of the Indian seafarers to help resolve this issue.
IMO would call in particular on the flag State Saint Kitts and Nevis to provide the requested information.

(From the crew on board)
Many Thanks for your reply.
Sir Onboard approx10 crew contracts have expired. We have not received our wages for the last 4 months (Since Jan 2025).
Onboard conditions are very pathetic.Climate is too hot outside in the Gulf and we are not getting AC/fan because there is no generator running in day hours(Full black out).
Physical/Mental condition of every crew onboard is in very bad condition. If this condition continues for a few days, Health /Physical /Unexpected issues may happen with the crew onboard.
Presently We have a shortage of fresh water onboard. We have a shortage of daily use items like toothpaste,soap,Detergents....etc.
Sir Everyone 's family is very much worried about us.There is no update on Wages / Sign off till today.
We request you to please send us home safely with our full wages ASAP.
Sir we are not getting any help from Owners/DPA/Agents.
Sir Awaiting Positive response from you on this matter.
Kindly acknowledge the same.
Thanks & Best Regards
