In response to the labour complaint filed against the vessel "SEDRA, IMO number 9043146", you will find the latest communications:
May 4, 2025. PMA was notified of the labour complaint. 20 crew members on board (16 from Egypt, 3 from India, and 1 from Sudan) are claiming three months of back wages. The seafarer has also informed us of the unfair termination of contract by his employers.
May 18, 2025. PMA received information from the resident agent confirming and evidencing full payment compliance.
May 19, 2025. Resident agent confirmed and provided evidence of compliance, as well as a brief clarification from the operators regarding the case.
28 August 2025: International Transport Workers' Federation
The seafarer was paid in full and repatriate.
Resolved.

We refer to your notification regarding the abandonment case of the vessel SEDRA (IMO No. 90443146).
Kindly be informed that the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology of the Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Maritime Authority, has resolved the case. The seafarer, Mr. ******, received his outstanding wages and was repatriated to his home country, Egypt, upon his personal request.
