Crew were paid and those who wished to be repatriated we’re returned home by the company in middle of June 2025.

2 September 2025: Panama
In response to the labour complaint filed against the vessel "BGMS MIGHTY," IMO No. 9944364, you will find the latest communications.
June 09, 2025. PMA was notified of the complaint regarding the vessel BGMS Mighty and its state of abandonment.
June 10, 2025. PMA sent the first communication addressed to ship owners, operators, and/or local resident agents, communicating the labor complaint filed against the vessel and requesting the measures adopted to correct such deficiencies.
Through an email dated June 25, 2025, addressed to the P&I Club, requesting the activation of financial security.
June 26, 2025. The resident agent inform us the following:
"It is confirmed that all crew members of the vessel have received their outstanding wages and expenses. Documents supporting this claim are attached, including signed agreements, payslips, and receipts. The crew has withdrawn all complaints against the vessel and its owners. Marsol has signed new labor contracts with the crew and is now responsible for their wages and maintenance."
Through an email date June 26, 2025, addressed to the ITF inspector, we request the following:
"Shipowner confirmed that all crew on the vessel have received full payment of outstanding wages and expenses. Supporting documents are attached, including signed agreements, transfer slips, and payment receipts. Validation of this information is requested to continue with the corresponding procedure."
July 4, 2025. ITF inspector informed us of the following:
"The crew confirmed they had received their wages until June 6. Some members agreed to continue working under new management, while the rest would be repatriated this week. The vessel's file will be closed once disembarkation and final payment to the crew members are complete."
July 25, 2025. ITF inspector inform us the following:
"The spreadsheet has been updated with a new cook for BGMS Mighty and his outstanding wages, while information is awaited regarding another cook for the Splendor. The operator plans to pay all wage arrears, according to a conversation with Steven from the Shipowners Club, although the process could be faster. The crew has not been informed to avoid creating false expectations. In addition, the Dammam Port Authority has withheld the departure of the ships Splendor, Success, and Mighty until the situation is resolved. which could pul pressure on the operator to expedite payments.”
12 August 2025: United Republic of Tanzania

The Tanzania High Commission in the United Kingdom is closely monitoring the abandonment cases involving:
• Three Tanzanian seafarers on board the Panamanian-flag tug BGMS Mighty (IMO No. 9944364);
• Seven Tanzanian seafarers on board BGMS Bader (IMO No. 9944405); and
• One Tanzanian seafarer on board BGMS Success (IMO No. 9944390),
all currently abandoned at Dammam Port, Saudi Arabia.
Communications are ongoing to ensure their safety and that their rights are fully protected. We urgently request your assistance in obtaining their full names, passport numbers, and Seafarer identification details (Seafarer’s ID, CDC, and COP), to enable us to liaise effectively with the relevant authorities in Saudi Arabia.
