Circumstances
The vessel is detained in the port of Pozzallo since 17 February 2010. Before the scheduled departure of the ship 7 Egyptian seafarers deserted and went underground. As a result the police arrested the captain taking him to the Criminal Court for the crime of aiding illegal immigration. The Magistrate confirmed the arrest and proceeded to order the confiscation of the vessel. Nine seafarers remain on board. Owners have stopped supplying provisions to the vessel, currently food is being provided by local Stella Maris.

All crew members were repatriated on the 9th of May except for the Master who was repatriated the 12th of May. The ship is still berthed in the port of Pozzallo, no crew on board.
