The Tanzania High Commission in the United Kingdom is closely monitoring the abandonment cases involving:
• Three Tanzanian seafarers on board the Panamanian-flag tug BGMS Mighty (IMO No. 9944364);
• Seven Tanzanian seafarers on board BGMS Bader (IMO No. 9944405); and
• One Tanzanian seafarer on board BGMS Success (IMO No. 9944390),
all currently abandoned at Dammam Port, Saudi Arabia.
Communications are ongoing to ensure their safety and that their rights are fully protected. We urgently request your assistance in obtaining their full names, passport numbers, and Seafarer identification details (Seafarer’s ID, CDC, and COP), to enable us to liaise effectively with the relevant authorities in Saudi Arabia.
