Circumstances

As the vessel was initially reported by the ITF as being flagged to Comoros, the flag information was updated to 'Not Known' (since 01/08/2025) in the latest EQUASIS records, following communication from the IMO.

Vessel is drifting in Omani waters

Crew unpaid since May 2025 and in need of provisions and fresh water. The ship is reported to have numerous technical deficiencies and severe sanitation problems

Among the 14 seafarers, one was reported to be from Palestine.

With reference to your correspondence regarding the vessel M/V WARBA (IMO 9345178) reported in the ILO/IMO joint database on abandonment, we would like to inform you that the Maritime Authority of the Sultanate of Oman has successfully resolved the case.

All crew members were repatriated to their respective home countries on 18 October 2025, and they have received their outstanding wages in full.

Management company has advised on 29th July 2025 that the owners were planning to arrange payment of crew wages and repatriation at a port in the UAE within the week
