ITF Trust approved a grant for the crew, Burmese crew haven’t received their money due to issues with the Burmese banks. Cash of $1000 was given before crew we’re repatriated but its unclear which crew paid for their of flights. Vessel will be sold and the remaining wages will be paid to the crew.

We have received a vessel abandonment report concerning the General Cargo Ship Rambler Star (IMO No. 8889555), flag of Togo on IMO GISIS, however unknown on equasis since 1st August 2025. According to the report, the vessel was abandoned by the ship owner at Nanshi, China on 23th February 2025. There are seven seafarers onboard from Myanmar, who have 10 months unpaid wages.
During the investigation of the matter, The SRPS have reported to Department of Marine Administration that all Myanmar seafares have already received their wages and arrived in Myanmar as of April 2025.
Therefore, we would like to express our gratitude for notifying the department regarding the unpaid wages of the seafarers mentioned above.
