We are writing in relation to Case No. 01484 concerning the vessel Maridive VII (IMO No. 8120909), which is currently recorded in the ILO Abandonment Database as abandoned on 1 September 2025 under the flag of Panama.

The vessel is now registered under our flag. In line with our explicit request and in full compliance with the Maritime Labour Convention (MLC, 2006), the person in charge has provided the attached supporting letter issued by the Secretary General of the Professional Syndicate of Egyptian and Foreign Seamen in Alexandria and Liaison Officer with the International Transport Workers’ Federation (ITF).

The letter confirms that the above-mentioned vessel is entirely free from any prior complaints regarding crew wages, financial entitlements, or salary arrears. It further states that there are no recorded work-related injuries or fatalities associated with the vessel.

In light of this development, we kindly request that you review the attached documentation and verify the current status of the case.

Accordingly, we respectfully ask that the necessary steps be taken to update the relevant entry in the ILO Abandonment Database and that the case be marked as resolved, in accordance with the applicable procedures.
