Circumstances

Crew without electricity, food and water. Vessel moored on a breakwater, crew cannot get on land. Crew and ITF unable to get response from shipowner. Local unions, Caritas and Red Cross providing drinking water and supplies. Vessel had similar problems 2 months ago running out of fuel off the coast of Tunisia. Harbour Master of Algeciras ordered to shift the vessel the last Friday 30.07.2010 to another berthing, for humanitarian reasons and now the crew have access to shore leave.
Algeciras Port Authority supplied on 31.07.2008 to the vessel 10Tons of Gas oil and fresh water also for humanitarian reasons.
Red Cross as a Charity Organization (Banco de Alimentos) are supplying fresh food for the crew.
We haven't reply or any contact with the Owner for the moment.
