I herewith would like to appreciate all the actions that Palau has taken regarding this reported abandonment case.
In this regard it may be helpful to note that according to the procedures of the IMO/ILO Joint Database of Abandonment of Seafarers a case of abandonment can only be considered as being resolved if, and only if, ILO has received clear advice from the Member State or relevant organization that reported the abandonment that:
(i) the totality of the crew has been successfully repatriated; and
(ii) the totality of all outstanding remuneration and contractual entitlements have been paid and duly received by all the crewmembers.
Therefore, I herewith would like to invite ITF, who initially reported this abandonment case, to provide for an update on the status of this case. All information received will be duly recorded on the joint IMO/ILO database on abandonment of seafarers

By the means of the present eMail message, we would like to address the attached documentary evidence received from vessel's Managers TASH WATERWAYS SHIPPING LLC regarding the Abandonment case of M/V MOUNT (9252618) with Abandonment ID Number 01544.
Please, confirm receipt / review of the referenced documentation for the crew's wages settlement and kindly revert with further comments/input, if any, in order to progress/process the closure of the case.

With reference to the mail cited below, I am directed to inform that, as per the records available on the Directorate General of Shipping website, no crew list is reflected for the vessel MOUNT (9252618).
In light of this, it is challenging to examine the matter further without the details of Indian seafarers currently working on board the vessel. Therefore, we kindly request that the relevant details (either CDC No. or passport No) of the seafarers serving on board the above-mentioned vessel may kindly be provided to this Directorate at the earliest, so as to enable us to expedite the necessary action in the matter.
