As a follow up on the case in subject ("MYRA Q" motor fishing vessel (IMO 8871601), please be informed that the Italian Consulate Authority in Dakar on 11th February 2026 personally went on board the vessel, moored in the port of Dakar, in order to verify the possible presence of crew. As a result of the investigation, the absence of personnel on board was confirmed; it was also reported that the only activities currently carried out on board concern maintenance interventions carried out by external companies, without the stable presence of a crew.
