I am directed to forward herewith a copy of letter F. No.: 23-ABAN/12/2026-CREW - DGS (Comp No. 38760) dated 24.02.2026 regarding Abandonment of the vessel 'GRACE', IMO Number 9486300, flag: Antigua and Barbuda, at Haifa, Israel is for information & necessary action.

Regarding the Vessel abandonment report received on 16 Jan 2026, informing the abandonment of M/V GRACE, imo no. 9486300, Flag: Antigua & Barbuda, kindly be advised of the following:
1. This vessel is under the close inspection of ITF representative in Israel.
2. The Port state authorities are joining efforts with ITF to bring this issue to the best solution keeping the crew paid as required.
3. As for Inspection carried out on board the vessel on 19 Jan 2026 it was found that 2 seafarers are still missing their December salary. The rest of the crew were paid as necessary and there was an understanding from the crew not to file an official complaint due to the fact that salary is paid. Not on time but eventually paid.
4. One crew member, by his own choice requested to stay on boar for longer period due to security condition in his own country. Because this condition not complying with MLC the owner and seafarer will rearrange contract to the satisfaction of ITF rep.
5. The State of Israel is not a party to the MLC 2006 Convention therefor is not in the legal position to take formal acts of Detention and prosecution due to MLC violation.
Nevertheless, we are attending the vessel following ITF/IMO abandonment report to ensure crew have medical attention and sufficient food.
