In reference to your communication regarding the newly reported abandonment case concerning m/v Olympıc OS, IMO No. 8215649, we would like to provide the requested information and comments, which fall under the competence of the Bulgarian Maritime Administration.
Following receipt of the information below , the Port State Control – Burgas immediately on 17.01.2026 contacted the ship’s owner through the ship’s agent and required that all outstanding wages be settled.
As a result, on 20.01.2026, we received letter of warranty from ship owner (attached) that all outstanding wages will be settled within 10 days.
Should additional information become available, we will provide updates without delay.

The seafarer left the ship on 18th June 2025. Despite being given a guarantee letter by the company stating that the payment would be made within 15 days, the salary payment has not been made yet.
