I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to inform you that we have received information from the operating company responsible for the vessel GHENA, IMO 8303989, as well as from its Resident Agent, regarding the payment of outstanding wages owed to the crew of the vessel GHENA. We would appreciate it if you could confirm whether the crew has received said payment and whether the situation on board the vessel has been resolved.

Thank very much for the information submitted on the situation of the Livestock Carrier ‘GHENA’, IMO Number 8303989, Flag: Panama, having on board 74 seafarers from Philippines (73), and Sweden (1) who are abandoned in Cartagena, Spain on 2 February 2026.
We have just referred this information to our maritime administration and our colleagues in Madrid will reach out the Local Maritime Authority in Cartagena.
We will inform you as soon as we get further information on this case.

The attached third report concerning the same vessel which was earlier on 10 July 2025 notified to be abandoned with the same crew on board when enroute to Sao Sebastiao, Brazil on 1 July 2025, and again on 12 September 2025 notified to be abandoned with still the same crew on board in Istanbul, Türkiye on 2 September 2025.
