West P&I would like to report that bank remittance SWIFTS provided by Owners to ITF for Sept-February on 3 March 2026. We kindly await confirmation that the matter is to be marked resolved.

I am responding to your email below, relating to the abandonment of the TALISKER which is entered with the West of England P&I Club. I have contacted the Club and can report that West is in active discussions with ITF and Owners to try to ascertain what precisely is alleged to still be outstanding and for which seafarers during the 25/26 policy year. At present, West do not have full details of exact sums still claimed from each seafarer or for what duration which is making resolution difficult. The owners are also in direct contact with ITF to seek a resolution. Further updates will be provided.

With reference to the trailing mail, we kindly request you to please provide the IMO crew list of the vessel TALISKER (IMO 9190327) at the time of abandonment.
If the IMO crew list is not available, we would be grateful if you could kindly provide the following details of the Indian seafarers:
1. Name
2. CDC Number
3. Passport Number
We would appreciate receiving the above information at your earliest convenience to enable us to examine the matter and take it up with the appropriate authorities for early resolution.
Thank you for your kind support and cooperation.

Also regarding the flag for the ship, TALISKER, although Germany is the flag at the top of the list for GISIS I have been given the explanation below that the flag is in fact Panama, as stated by ITF.
“It was updated by us on 6th August 2021 to show change of flag from Germany to Panama effective 7/2021.
Vessel had previously been registered under Germany flag and bareboat chartered out to Netherlands.”
