Regarding the reported abandonment of Xin Hai Tong 32, I have also contacted West P&I and can confirm the following:
West have discussed with Owners and understand the matter is resolved and evidence of payment of wages has already been provided.

Your email about new abandonment case (Xin Hai Tong 32, IMO: 9594573) has been well received and processed.
China Maritime Safety Administration (MSA), through the ship’s Seafarer Recruitment and Placement Service agency in China, has been informed that the outstanding wages(USD 19,000) in the report is the seafarers’ Leave Pay as part of their wages. The shipowner has fully remitted this amount to the seafarers’ designated account on 8 May 2026. With regard to the seafarers who have requested repatriation, the shipowner has arranged for crew changeovers in South Africa, and their requests have been duly satisfied. Relevant parties are kindly requested to further verify the above information.
