We acknowledge receipt of your notification regarding the reported abandonment case of the vessel VIVA, IMO No. 9156539.
As per the records of the Tuvalu Ship Registry, the registration of the vessel VIVA was closed on 20 April 2026. Therefore, at the time of the reported abandonment on 1 May 2026, the vessel was no longer registered under the Tuvalu flag.
In addition, as per Lloyd’s List Intelligence / SeaSearcher, the vessel may have changed her name to NOVA and may be under the Somali Flag Administration. We noted ITF inspector also gave comment for this matter.
Nevertheless, we remain at your disposal and are committed to cooperating with the IMO/ILO Secretariat, where necessary.
