In response to your request to clarify what further documentation is required, this was set out in my email of 22 July 2026 and remains outstanding.
The bank/UTR documentation identifies amounts recorded as transferred. However, it does not provide the corresponding documentary evidence necessary to verify the wages and contractual entitlements due to each affected crew member under the applicable employment agreement, or that the amounts paid represent full settlement of those entitlements.
As previously requested, please provide, for each affected crew member:
• documentary evidence identifying the wages and contractual entitlements due under the applicable employment agreement; and
• documentary evidence identifying the amount paid in full settlement of those wages and contractual entitlements.
This information is necessary to reconcile the amounts contractually due to each affected crew member against the amounts paid. Further confirmation from the bank that the transfers were made does not address the outstanding requirement.
Upon receipt and verification of the requested documentation, the ITF will determine whether the evidence is sufficient to conclude this matter.

Further to my email below, I have received further information indicating that the vessel has approximately two days’ worth of food provisions remaining.
This is in addition to the previously reported lack of fuel, operation solely on the emergency generator, and the imminent exhaustion of potable drinking water.
I respectfully urge all relevant authorities and responsible parties to give this matter their immediate attention and to take any action available within their respective capacities to facilitate the urgent delivery of food, potable drinking water, fuel, and other essential supplies to the vessel.

Please find the attached and below correspondence concerning the active abandonment case involving M/V ALIZA (IMO 9239989) for your urgent attention.
The ITF has been advised by the Master that the vessel is currently in international waters, approximately 15 nautical miles from Khor Fakkan Port, and that he is unable to bring the vessel into port due to a lack of fuel.
The latest information received from the crew indicates that the vessel has exhausted its fuel supply and is operating on its emergency generator. The crew further report that their bottled drinking water will be exhausted within the next two days, the vessel’s freshwater is unsafe for cooking, and substantial outstanding wages and contractual entitlements remain unpaid. The crew have made an urgent appeal for assistance.
We would be grateful if you could give this matter your urgent attention and consider any assistance or action available within your respective capacity.
