I would like to provide an update regarding the outstanding wage complaint for SHRIGANESHA (IMO 9123855)
The RO has confirmed that the outstanding wages have been paid to the seafarers, and the ITF person in charge has also confirmed that the case has been closed.
However, the case is still marked as “Unresolved” in the ILO/IMO database.
We would therefore greatly appreciate your kind assistance in updating the status and closing the case accordingly.
Please find attached the signed payment confirmation and acknowledgment letter for your kind review and reference.

Thank you for your swift response message concerning the aggregates Carrier ‘Shriganesha’, IMO Number 9123855, Flag: Zanzibar (United Republic of Tanzania), having on board 14 seafarers from Azerbaijan who were abandoned in Georgetown, Guyana on 1 May 2026. There are outstanding wages for 3 months. The insurer is: Turk P & I.
Just to clarify that on both IMO GISIS and Equasis the vessel is recorded as per 1 January 2026 to be registered under the flag registry of Zanzibar (United Republic of Tanzania). Both data systems display this registry as up to today and without any conditions, please refer the two attachments.

We acknowledge receipt of the communication regarding the reported abandonment of the crew on board the Aggregates Carrier Shriganesha (IMO No. 9123855), flying the flag of Zanzibar (United Republic of Tanzania).
Please be assured that we have taken note of the matter and are following it up with the relevant authorities in Tanzania to establish the facts and facilitate the appropriate action. We will share any updates received from the competent authorities in due course.
Based on the information currently available to us, including the vessel's Certificate of Registry, the vessel's registration was valid until 25 April 2026, whereas the reported abandonment is indicated to have occurred on 1 May 2026. We will, however, leave it to the competent authorities to provide further clarification on this apparent discrepancy, including whether there is additional information or documentation beyond the Certificate of Registry currently available to us.

I am contacting you from the behalf of the State Maritime and Port Agency under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan. We have received information regarding the abandonment of the vessel Shriganesha (IMO Number 9123855, Flag: Zanzibar). The relevant information has been forwarded to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan. According to the information made available to us, all members of the crew were evacuated on June 3rd and July 4th, 2026, and are currently located in Baku. The vessel's captain, Azad Taghiyev, confirmed this information.
