Circumstances
The vessel sank on Aug. 12 2014 amid allegations of arms smuggling. According to public databases, the vessel is owned and operated by a Romanian company.
The crew were initially accused of illegal arms trafficking, but the courts did not uphold the charge and the seafarers are now on bail and surviving on local support.
It has not been possible to contact the owner.
