Circumstances
We understand that there is a 9 month wage claim against the ship and there are no supplies of food, water or any other means for the basic operation of the vessel. The vessel was previously detained in Bahrain under the name Sea Lord. Contact with crew now lost. No response from flag State.

The complaint was submitted by a representative of Mission to Seafarers who confirmed that all the fifteen crewmembers of the SL STAR signed off and went to their homelands by January 30, 2017, receiving the agreed/negotiated salary.
