Dear*****,
Please could you insert in the Joint IMO/ILO Database the information as in the attached message from Mrs. *****, Deputy Chief Maritime Labour Affairs Department of the Panama Maritime Authority, which I received yesterday.
I understand from Mrs. ***** that the payments of all the owed wages and for the repatriation of the crew have been made. Also the General Directorate of Merchant Marine has been requested to begin the process of sanctions to the vessel Star of Sea for its noncompliance to MLC, 2006.
The relevant sanction resolution has not yet been issued. However, Mrs. ***** would be grateful if at least this information about the sanctions as here above will still be recorded.
Many thanks and kind regards,
*****
