Circumstances

Vessel was chartered by anti-migrant organisation, Defend Europe, who then, ironically, abandoned their Sri Lankan crew in Spain. Vessel now sold and seafarers are waiting to be paid and repatriated by new owners.

Informed by Spain (as of 30/10/2017)
A prospective buyer (Al FAN shipping Ltd) seems to have bought the ship.
Prospective ship owner confirms that salaries and repatriation of eight (8) Sri Lanka crew member salaries will be paid by incoming ship owner and is awaiting certificates with the new flag registry.
As indicated by the Captain the ship doesn´t have P&I insurance coverage.
The Spanish PSC inspection was suspended awaiting for the incoming flag registry to issue certificates to the ship.
Cautionary measures have also been imposed by the Spanish Administration but no payment has been received.
