Circumstances

The crew are owed wages for more than 4 months. The ship is arrested by a local ship chandler and Galaxia Maritima (Brazil), and the ship's managers - Neyahship – is unable to settle the creditors claims, de facto bankrupt.

Updates

4 August 2022: Singapore
The vessel was de-registered from the Singapore flag on 28 Nov 2017 after MPA took action. MPA also informed me that they were notified by ITF that as the flags state, Singapore had done its part and ITF did not require any further action from the Singapore flag.

9 March 2018: Other
On 5 March 2018, the vessel was inspected by the PSCOs and it was verified that there are only Brazilian crew on board.

15 January 2018: International Transport Workers' Federation
The crew is pursuing their claim for unpaid wages from 21 February to date of repatriation through a private lawyer
