Documents taken from the vessel show that the name of the vessel was changed to Sea Pioneer at some stage although all maritime date suppliers (IHA Maritime, Lloyd's Intellignece, Equasis) have no record of it.

Document also show that the flag of the vessel has at some stage been Mongolia and Sierra Leone. Mongolia flag state have confirmed that it was registered on 22 Jan 2020 but the provisional registeration expired on 22 July 2020. Sierra Leone has confirmed that the vessel has never been registered with them.

The seafarers employment contract for the Myanmar crew is one of the worst we have encountered.
