Many of the crew have employment contracts that expired in May and June 2023.

In response to the labour complaint filed against the vessel “GAS ATHENA”, with IMO No. 9267950, we provide you with the latest communications:
1. Through Email dated February 20, 2024, the PMA sent the 1st communication addressed to Ship owners, Operator and/or Local Resident Agents, communicating the labor complaint filed against the vessel, and requesting the measures adopted to correct such deficiencies.
2. This administration has imposed an administrative restriction on the vessel.
3. Through email dated May 23, 2024, the activation of financial guarantees is requested.
4. Through email dated May 24, 2024, P&I informed that it will take measures to solve the problem.
5. Through email dated June 17, 2024, P&I inform that it is in contact with the ship owner.
6. Through email dated July 3, 2024, P&I reports the following information:
"The owners have informed us through their brokers that they are taking all necessary steps to pay and repatriate the crew. We are closely monitoring the situation and putting pressure on the owners through their intermediaries. We will keep you informed."
