The ship is offshore at Mersin port. The ship was banned from the expedition by court decision due to debts. The ship's crew is 13, but the minimum safe manning number of the ship is 7. However, since Syrian seafarers are prohibited from passing through Türkiye, the number of crew on the ship cannot be reduced. It is not allowed to pass through Türkiye. Written requests were made to local authorities to overcome bureaucratic obstacles
